30 Rock Moves Times 3/15
February 21, 2012
Community is returning to NBC Thursdays at 8:00 Eastern (!!!!), so 30 Rock is moving back a half hour to 8:30. I’m so glad Community’s back and 30 Rock wont have to go against the Big Bang Theory so I guess everyone’s happy. (Parks is taking a few week hiatus until it comes back April 19th behind The Office.) Happy to see NBC putting “Community” and “30 Rock” back-to-back again on their schedule. No offense to P&R , but these are the two shows I like to watch together.

Me too I’m so excited for back to back!
Matt, how are 30 Rocks ratings doing this season? I was curious so see how it was going to handle being against Big Bang? … I was kinda hoping it would stay there bc I feel like its stood the test of time and is pretty secure with the network and gets its solid rating regardless. While Community isn’t really there yet. I thought 30 Rock would be a good lead in to Community… but I guess we’ll see.
All the changing NBC is doing, I feel like they just threw Community back in to appease everyone complaining about it. And aren’t considering its fate.
I LOVE 30 Rock, and since it revolves around NBC I used to LOVE NBC, but they need to learn how to handle their game. They have a trillion new things premiering this season. I feel like theyre just digging there hole deeper.
And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, just cancel Whitney and end everyone’s problems!

i’m really disappointed with 30 Rock ratings this season. I know it’s a tough time slot, but still…the show has lost a lot of its audience and at this stage, even in a better time slot it won’t get 1.9 – 2.0. I would love to see season 7, 8 or even 9, but with the “backlash” the show has received recently, maybe even Tina wants to end the whole thing.
i’m glad Community is back, i always knew Community will be back, but i’m kind of sad 30 Rock failed….

30 Rock is NOT ENDING THIS YEAR no matter what the ratings are. Alec Baldwin renewed his deal with NBC for one more year so that pretty much guarantees a 7th Season.
Besides, Tina Fey has made it clear many times that she wants to continue the show beyond Season Six should NBC want them to which at this point…they do.
