30 Rock gets Season 3!

UPDATE: Looks like Season 3 will have the full 22 Episodes! So much good news! 30 Rock was officially renewed for Season 3 just minutes ago when NBC announced their 08-09 schedule! There is no word on how many episodes this season will contain, but NBC is seaking to have “as much new as possible.” (For example they asked the Office to have 32 episodes next year, but producers negotiated 30 cause the cast has got to have a life and movie careers too!) Hopefully Season 3 will see at least 24 episodes or so. I can’t see them making too many more than that considering Alec, Tina, and Tracy have large careers to work on outside of the show. Either way it’s pretty exciting! We’ll keep you posted as rumors for number of episodes come out. Congrats to the cast and crew for making this show so great! By the way, here’s the schedule. E! True. I said 24 sort of half guessing/ half wishing.
They were supposed to get 22 before the writers strike so we can safely assume at least that many. And reading around the trend seems to be networks are willing to order a few extra next season to make up for the strike so we’ll see.
EDIT: Yup. Midnight Train you were right. 22 Episodes next season!

That is great news! I’m glad it got another season!
Whats the real chances of it getting at 24 episodes though? I don’t know if NBC would want that many considering it doesn’t have as good ratings as the Office or My Name is Earl.
