30 Rock Wins 2 WGA Awards!
February 20, 2010
30 Rock won 2 Writers Guild Awards tonight! 30 Rock won Outstanding Comedy Series and tied with Modern Family’s “Pilot” for Best Comedy Episodic. Robert Carlock’s “Apollo, Apollo” took home the episodic award. Matthew Hubbard was also nominated in that category for his Emmy winning episode “Reunion.” This is the 3rd year in a row 30 Rock won in the Comedy Series category. Congrats writers! You guys are my favorites! Hopefully we can find a video or transcript of Tina’s speech, it was supposed to be touching. More Pictures under the Cut. Posted in Awards |

Yay! I’m such a sucker for writers, and “Apollo, Apollo” was my favorite episode of last season. Hopefully we’ll get to see Tina’s acceptance speech.

Hear, hear. Kay Cannon said that it was touching, emotional speech. I wanna see that! Gah, I love the writers and great that WGA recognized Carlock for episodic writing! If it’s wrong that I want 30 Rock to win every possible award imagined, then I don’t wanna be right.
