Basically this post is to tell you what you probably already know: 30 Rock is awesome.

I’m attempting to compile a list of all of 30 Rock’s appearances on “Best _____” of 2008 lists.  If you see any I missed (I’m sure they’re out there) be sure to leave a comment and I’ll add it.  Thanks to the people at Gold Derby and the 30 Rock Community at LJ for finding a lot of these lists.

Top TV Shows of 2008.  (These are roughly arranged by most credible list.)

Entertainment Weekley‘s Ken Tucker places 30 Rock at #3.
30 Rock is amongst TV Guide’s Top 15 Shows.
The New York times has 30 Rock at #3.
30 Rock takes #5 on New York Observers Top 10 Shows of 2008.
30 Rock is #9 on Maureen Ryan’s list at the Chicago Tribune.
New York Magazine has 30 Rock at #4 on it’s Top 10 list.
David Bianulli at NPR ranks 30 Rock at #3.
Blast Magazine also has 30 Rock at #3.
30 Rock falls in at #6 on Zap2it’s Top 10 of ’08.
Fraizier Moore from the Associated Press has 30 Rock at #10.
The Seacoast Online also has 30 Rock in the #10 spot.
30 Rock is #5 at Paste Magazine’s list.
The Niagara Gazette, which apparently exists ranks 30 Rock at #7.

Top Episodes of the Year.

“Cooter” is #8 on TIME’s Top episodes of the year.
“Subway Hero” ranks #6 on EW’s Top Ten epiosdes of the year.
