Bid on a Visit to the Set

February 1, 2008

So apparently you could go here to bid on a visit to the set of 30 Rock. It will, of course, will set you back quite a bit. If I had that money I wouldn’t even post that for fear of being out-bid. In unrelated news, does any one know where I could sell a kidney quick? Also, did I mention I have a birthday coming up? I know everyone was wondering what to get me.

Of course, you can’t visit the set of 30Rock until the strikes over and they go back in to production. And with both the AMPTP and WGA in media blackout, it’s hard to tell exactally when that will be. The mood is cautiously optimistic. But just because things are going well doesn’t mean anything. Remember last November?

Some points of interest:
-Peter Churnin, the man behind FOX, sold his Superbowl tickets to stay in town to negotiate.
-The US HR Committee on Education and Labor sent a letter the the CEO’s urging for a fair, quick deal.

I think I’ve prepared myself for no more 30 Rock or Office or anything this year, but there’s still that hope that maybe if it’s over in the next week…

Fun Fact: “Bid” is the correct for both the present, past, and future tense. Insane!
