Get Excited or the Emmys!

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

Emmy AwardThe Emmys will be here Sunday night at 8/7c on CBS.  It’s time to get excited for 30 Rock!  (Red carpet starts an hour before that on E! and TV Guide.)

Who do you think will win?  Who are you most nervous for?  Will 30 Rock take the big prize for the third time in a row?  Let us know what you’re thinking below.  And as always, be sure to check back here at PCB during the ceremony to share your thoughts with other 30 Rock fans!

Just so you know, the comedy categories are going first (besides best series wich is second to last.)  So be sure to tune in on time!  (Jane’s award is up first!)

More exciting things:
Alec, Tina and Tracy have all been confirmed as presenters.
Here’s a hilarious “Know your Emmy Hopefuls” with Jack McBrayer.

A reminder of the awards 30 Rock is up for tomorrow night is under the break.  I’m pumped!

A fan ran into the cast and crew filming more scenes outside 30 Rock (lucky!) and managed to take some great photos.

They’re kind of spoilery so I’ve put them behind a break.  Click the link to check them out.

30 Rock Finish the Quote Game

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Um, this is awesome: 30 Rock Quote Game!

Be careful how you type in the episode titles though!  How’d you all do?

Also while we’re on the subject of things people should check out, Noah posted this video of Jack McBrayer on the Today Show in the chatbox yesterday.  The ending has a deleted scene from Larry King this is just hilarious.  Check it out!

McBrayer’s Governor Double

Wednesday, February 25th, 2009

UPDATE:  Jack McBrayer’s response on a run through on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

We all know how awesome Tina Fey was at playing Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin.  That was hilarious.

Then yesterday this happened.  Turns out the Louisiana Governor sounds just like Jack McBrayer.  If this guy ever runs for major office Jack can play him on SNL!

Also Comedy Central posted this about other 30 Rock-GOP resemblances.   Personally I’d love to see Jane Krakowski do a Cindy McCain impression :P .

Page Desk #13

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Here’s a rather large edition of The Page Desk.  As always if we’ve missed something or you come across something 30 Rock fans might enjoy feel free to share!

  • Tina Fey was on NPR’s Fresh Air this past Monday.   Check out her interview.  Thanks Amanda!
  • Jack McBrayer was on Leno on Halloween.  I don’t know how we missed it.  Check it out here.
  • Here’s a pretty funny parody starting Katrina Bowden and one of the 30 Rock writers, Donald Glover.  It’s not really appropriate so beware.
  • And just a cool fun fact, Donald Glover has appeared on screen on 30 Rock before.  Check out this video in case you missed him.
  • Here’s an interview with Scott Adsit.
  • The New York Times ran a pretty great profile of Tracy Morgan.
  • Here’s a pretty funny video about Keith Powell directing a play.  Here’s part 1 and part 2.
  • Don’t forget Tina’s on Oprah’s show this Thursday.
  • And don’t forget to check out the online goodies over at NBC.  Kenneth the Web Page, Under the Bleachers, Dear Tracy Jordan, and Frank Talk.
  • Cast Interviews

    Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

NBC posted some brief interviews with the cast about the upcoming season.  They don’t really spoil anything and they’re pretty entertaining so check them out.

A second one is posted under the break.
