EW asked Jack McBrayer to write up Kenneth the Page’s top 10 Albums of all time. And I have to say it’s the funniest thing I’ve seen since MILF Island aired. I don’t know what the best part is? The Golden Girls Theme listed twice, or “Hush Little Baby,” or all of it!
I’ll post the text under the break so you don’t have to click though the gallery at EW if you don’t want, but you should definately read the comments Kenneth made about each one. It’ll make your day!
Tina Fey and Jack McBrayer were on Night of Too Mnay Stars last night. It’s a fund raiser for autism hosted by Jon Stewart. Many many many famous comedians were there to help.
Here’s Tina helping to raise $100,000. (Along with Amy Poehler and Rosie O’Donnell.) Tina’s bit starts around 2:15.
And here’s Jack McBrayer taking a pledge call from Larry David.
You can check out the Comedy Central website for more clips from the event. Including some 30 Rock guest starts like Will Arnett and Conan O’Brien.
Here’s this week’s Page Desk. As always, if you find 30 Rock news we missed, be sure to send it in!
The kind people at NBC would like to let you know, that you can purchase your very own MILF Island T-shirt! The desing is actually pretty cool! I wonder where exactally I could wear that…
Sunday night, Tina will perform on Night of Too Many Stars. Which is being hosted by her bff Jon Stewart.
The New York Times has a great article on Jack McBrayer. Thanks to Everythings the Worst and French Ben for the tip!
Less than a week! You know what that means? We have to squeeze three more of our Countdown Posts into 7 days. Before we get to Number Three, we must put out a disclaimer. We know, they’re sort of lame but they’re almost over!
Apparently we here at PCB really suck at finding videos to go along with the description we would like to give ya. You all know we are just starting up as a site, and any help you can give us would make this the kind of site you will recommend to your 30 Rock friends. So if you have any secret 30 Rock Clip Vault you would like to share, we would really appreciate it.
Disclaimer Part Two: The clips we found for this particular Countdown Post are mostly Two-Minute Replays.(Which are almost always over 3 minutes long so why not name them the 3-Minute Replays NBC?…) You see why we need access to that secret vault?
Countdown #3
Top Three Best Physical Comedians on 30 Rock
3. – Jack McBrayer: I’m glad Tina found him! From his clogging to getting caught on a fence, Jack makes every scene a memorable one.He makes a singing show tunes while riding a bicycle more fun than it should be, and I crack up every time I watch him dancing to entrance Devon Banks!
2. – Alec Baldwin: Fact: Alec Baldwin is a comedy genius. On his commentary he notes that he is considered one of the best actors in his generation at falling down, and I would have to agree. His heart attack, and any subsequent chest pains are nothing sort of perfect. As is his blooper real from Jack-tor.The clip we have is one of my favorites though.Buried away in that nasty two minute replay is the clip where after learning Tracy’s been targeted by the Black Crusaders, he sprints away.
1. – Jane Krakowski: Whether she is roller dancing, trying on lingerie, or sliding on a large leather couch, Jane commits 100% to every physical task she gets. The Maxim photo shoot is really where we first really see the hilarity in her ability to fall. Sliding around in a barely-there wardrobe and proceeding to fall head over heels isn’t something most actresses would be ok with. But for Jane, it’s one of her best moments in the show’s history, matched only by the scene in the Lingerie Shop in Cleveland. Hopping around in stilettos and getting a thong caught on them in the process is comedic genius. Thanks for committing, Jane! Here’s hoping that you get to fall down a lot more! For example: Take her fabulous impromptu dancing in Black Tie
There you have it.If the Emmys appreciated physical comedy even slightly, all three of them would have their award by now!
Here’s the next installment of Page Desk. The post where we round up the latest news about 30 Rock and it’s stars. As always, if you find something we missed, please send us an email!
Here’s a rather hilarious interview with Jack McBrayer at Wonder-con. Jack was there to promote the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. My favorite part is when he talks about shooting the Mariah Carey music video.
Speaking of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, here’s the trailer with Jack McBrayer. (Warning: Sort of Inappropriate.)
And Speaking of Mariah Carey, could she get a role on 30 Rock. (Personally I think she would be a great contestant on MILF Island. Or perhaps a rival for Jenna…)
Apparently Edie Falco had so much fun doing Comedy on 30 Rock that she’s agreed to do star in her own series. She was really funny so I’m happy for her. Hopefully down the line she could find time to bring CC back!
You might have seen pictures of Tina Fey and Scott Adsit from Second City. Here’s a round up of stars from Chicago, including some classic pictures. Thanks to Andrea for sending it!
Finally here’s another great behind the scenes interview with Tina Fey at SNL:
Here’s a round up of 30 Rock news to help pass the time waiting for April 10th. Does that countdown seem to be ticking horrifically slow to anyone else?
NAACP Image Award Presenter Tracy Morgan. Apparently there was an awkward moment (4th paragraph) when he was presenting. I don’t know I wasn’t watching… Tracy didn’t win, though he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
Time for our weekly-ish Page Desk Post, where we link you to various 30 Rock related pages on the Interweb. As always, if you come across something we should add or post, feel free to send us an email!
Rather than making a whole bunch of small posts for separate articles and videos and interviews that may come up, we’ll decided it would be better have a weekly-ish “Page Desk” post to take care of all that. (Get it. Page Desk? NBC Page? Web Page? (Ahahaha…haha…?)) Ok, so it’s not the best name ever, but we’re sticking with it.
So without further delay. Here it is. Page Desk #1. As always, if you have anything you think we should include, let us know! Leave a comment or drop us an email.
