Hey Gang. Sorry, sorry, sorry for the lack of updates! The boys have left me in charge for the summer, but failed to give me any insight on where they picked up their scoops. Usually they check in Thursdays, so you loyal few who are still coming for news, I would say Thursdays are your best bet.

Anyway, I was wasting time on Hulu and I stumbled across two clips I hadn’t seen before. So I figured I would share.
PS: You think the two would have taught me how to embed these things…

The first is a short interview on how Tracy and Tina got Alec to join the show. It says “p1″ in the link, so maybe there is another part floating around out there. If you guys find it, lemme know and I’ll link it!

The other is a clip of Judah at the TV Land Awards. Incidentally, he ends up talking to Ed Helms who happens to be one of my Office Crushes, so it’s a bonus! (For me at least)

I also found this article. If you guys haven’t watched Livin’ Neath The Law with Jack McBrayer, you probably should. Because they are absolutely hilarious in the exact opposite of everything that is Kenneth. This one is called “Cancer Isn’t Cool”. I won’t spoil it, you just need to watch.

First off, on an unrelated note, here’s an interview with Judah Friedlander about his latest stand up routine. And apparently (according to this article) 30 Rock just finished it’s third season! Who knew? I must be a season behind! Goodness…

One other tidbit before the big news. As we already knew, 30 Rock has won a Peabody Award. The ceremony was held yesterday and here is a clip of the winners talking about what it was like to win. Thanks to Sophie for the link!

Now for the information that inspired the title of this post. We were all told that the tentative Season 2 DVD release would be September 16th. But apparently now, it has been pushed back to OCTOBER 14th! First they give us a horrible third season premiere date, and now this! How am I going to kill time now? Where’s the 30 Rock love? All I’m sayin’ is that there better be some incredible bonus features on this. It’s the least they can do for making us wait that long…

Kristin from E!Online reports on NBC’s upfront. Here’s what she had to say about Judah and Scott.

“30 Rocks: I learned tonight that if you approach that nice Judah Friedlander in hopes of getting a picture of his hat—as a strictly documentary enterprise, of course—you will end up with Scott Adsit taking a picture of you and Judah Friedlander and Judah’s hat, which tonight read Campeón Del Mundo. Adsit was also on my flight out from L.A. and was supernice as I squeed at him about his show on the way back to my seat. I adore them all even more now…”

Ok, so you’re probably wondering what todler pounded on the keyboard to come up with that title. But actually it’s an acronym.

So without further ado, here’s PCB’s first (and possibly last) installment of “News You Probably Already Know, But Its Still Too Cool Not To Pretend You Heard It Here First!”

Item #1 - 30 Rock wins Peabody Award! Add it to the ever growing list of “Proof of Awesomeness”. The Peabody is one of the most prestigious awards around. Once again, congrats to everyone involved! Here’s the Press Release. And a report.

Item #2 - 30 Rock 360. “30 Rock” joins “The Office,” “Heroes” and “Lipstick Jungle,” and goes “360″ next season. Fans of the Emmy-winning comedy can learn from the best through Jack Donaghy’s Online Business Courses (or “Jack U”), have access to Jack’s blog and offer their own business advice by uploading videos. Other challenges for users will include submitting skits for “TGS,” enacting provided skits from “TGC,” user response to “Ask Tina” and guided tours of their workplaces (in response to Kenneth the Page’s tours).
That should make the summer hiatus more bareable!
