Page Desk #13

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Here’s a rather large edition of The Page Desk.  As always if we’ve missed something or you come across something 30 Rock fans might enjoy feel free to share!

  • Tina Fey was on NPR’s Fresh Air this past Monday.   Check out her interview.  Thanks Amanda!
  • Jack McBrayer was on Leno on Halloween.  I don’t know how we missed it.  Check it out here.
  • Here’s a pretty funny parody starting Katrina Bowden and one of the 30 Rock writers, Donald Glover.  It’s not really appropriate so beware.
  • And just a cool fun fact, Donald Glover has appeared on screen on 30 Rock before.  Check out this video in case you missed him.
  • Here’s an interview with Scott Adsit.
  • The New York Times ran a pretty great profile of Tracy Morgan.
  • Here’s a pretty funny video about Keith Powell directing a play.  Here’s part 1 and part 2.
  • Don’t forget Tina’s on Oprah’s show this Thursday.
  • And don’t forget to check out the online goodies over at NBC.  Kenneth the Web Page, Under the Bleachers, Dear Tracy Jordan, and Frank Talk.
  • Post Emmy Spoiler Round up

    Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Kristen Dos Santos, of who I’m increasingly jealous of, has posted this little report. It’s full of 30 Rock spoilers for upcoming episodes, and speculation about a certain relationship on the show. It’s complete with a video of Ryan Seacrest interviewing Tina on the red carpet, and a fanvid. It’s pretty awesome so check it out!

You can also check out Ausiello’s videos from EW.com:
    Tina Fey
    Jane, Scott, and Judah
    Jane Krakowski

Am I the only one who can’t wait for October 30th? It’s killing me!

    Reports from NBC Upfront

    Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

Kristin from E!Online reports on NBC’s upfront. Here’s what she had to say about Judah and Scott.

“30 Rocks: I learned tonight that if you approach that nice Judah Friedlander in hopes of getting a picture of his hat—as a strictly documentary enterprise, of course—you will end up with Scott Adsit taking a picture of you and Judah Friedlander and Judah’s hat, which tonight read Campeón Del Mundo. Adsit was also on my flight out from L.A. and was supernice as I squeed at him about his show on the way back to my seat. I adore them all even more now…”

And here’s a video interview of Tina Fey on the red carpet. Tina spills on Oprah and her thoughts on her former Weekend Update Co-host taking over for Conan.

    Tracy’s Video Game Notes

    Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

First off, Scott Adsit guest stars on Law and Order: SVU tonight.  It’s the 200th episode and it’s headlining Robin Williams so I don’t know how big of a part he’s got, but it’s still cool to see the lesser known 30 Rock starts at work!

Anyways, this site here got a hold of some of the papers Tracy was working on in Succession.  They’re pretty funny!  I’m glad the writers/actors/producers take the time to make these little details.

My favorite part is his to do list:  Drinks with Lemon.  Save rest of Lemons Drink;  Give to Grizz.

And for the record, I would watch a movie about Frank’s hats!

    Countdown Post - #6

    Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

(The better, funnier parts were written by Shark Eyes.)

Here we go with another countdown post! We’re getting so close! 15 Days!

Shark Eyes and I were just discussing the lack of Pete love out there so we decided to collaborate on this one. We decided to focus on Pete cause he’s pretty awesome and doesn’t get nearly the recognition he deserves. So here it is:

Top 6 Pete Moments! (Also called the “Pete Post”!)

#6. Pete and His Metaphors - As a metaphor for love, Pete nails the crappy side of love (that we all experience pretty much daily) by comparing it to a stinky onion. I hear ya buddy. Boy do I hear ya…

#5. Pete and Cerie’s clothes - “That was a jacket!” Every guy at TGS appreciates how Cerie dresses. Especially Pete, look how bald he is, look at his life! I (Matt) have to agree with Pete here. There’s no reason to cover Cerie up. Not while she’s looking for her shoes or just reaching for script. Don’t take that away, Liz, you jerk with your big stupid face!

#4. Pete and His Fedora - Fedora: A sexy Justin Timberlake hat really adds a swagger to any guy’s step. Add that to a leather jacket and Eau De Midlife Crisis, and we have one happy and peppy Pete. Just add a Pop Tart and a sweater handcuff and you’ve got a spectacular comedic gold! And a priceless Pete moment!

#3. Pete and His Elmo Impression - Not only is Pete a great producer, but he is also a talented voice artist. If Elmo ever calls in sick, Pete could fill in flawlessly. Or start a potty training hotline.

#2. Pete and His Head Writer - As stated in The Baby Show, who knows Liz better than Pete? That is why the moment at the end of The C-Word is one of the sweetest in 30 Rock history. Pete comes to the rescue as the knight in shining armor and sweeps Liz of her feet away from the drama. Seriously, how cute is that?

#1. Pete and His Charisma - We do love bald Pete. We do. But there’s something about Pete wearing his charisma that’s just hilarious. Is it because Past Pete came to kill Future Pete? Or his commanding “Let Him Though!” Perhaps we will never know. But we do know Everyone looks good in a Sheinhardt.

    Page Desk #4

    Monday, March 3rd, 2008

Here’s the next installment of Page Desk. The post where we round up the latest news about 30 Rock and it’s stars. As always, if you find something we missed, please send us an email!

  • Here’s a rather hilarious interview with Jack McBrayer at Wonder-con. Jack was there to promote the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. My favorite part is when he talks about shooting the Mariah Carey music video.
  • Speaking of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, here’s the trailer with Jack McBrayer. (Warning: Sort of Inappropriate.)
  • And Speaking of Mariah Carey, could she get a role on 30 Rock. (Personally I think she would be a great contestant on MILF Island. Or perhaps a rival for Jenna…)
  • Which Tracy is crazier? Morgan or Jordan?
  • Apparently Edie Falco had so much fun doing Comedy on 30 Rock that she’s agreed to do star in her own series. She was really funny so I’m happy for her. Hopefully down the line she could find time to bring CC back!
  • You might have seen pictures of Tina Fey and Scott Adsit from Second City. Here’s a round up of stars from Chicago, including some classic pictures. Thanks to Andrea for sending it!
  • Finally here’s another great behind the scenes interview with Tina Fey at SNL:
