Congrats Tina and Jeff!
Update: The website changed the report to May 7th. We’ll let you know when NBC officially schedules it.
It looks like Tina Fey will be making her 3rd appearance as host on Saturday Night live on April 30th. Here’s the story. Assuming that’s the next new episode after Helen Mirren hosts, that will be SNL’s 700th episode. A great host for this pretty cool milestone.
That’s a little good news to counter act the latest round of Alec foretelling the end of 30 Rock.
Tina Fey’s new book “Bossypants” is out today! It’s a funny memoir about how she got where she is and how she juggles her life. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy (and have the time to read it.) Here’s where you can order the book on Amazon. Get reading and let us know what you think of the book!
I don’t know who wrote these but the “reviews on Amazon” says it all:
Once in a generation a woman comes along who changes everything. Tina Fey is not that woman, but she met that woman once and acted weird around her.PRAISE FOR TINA FEY:
“You’d be really pretty if you lost weight.” (College Boyfriend, 1990 )
“Tina Fey is an ugly, pear-shaped, overrated troll.” (The Internet )
“Mommy, where are my pretzels?” (Tracy Morgan )
ADVANCE PRAISE FOR BOSSYPANTS:
“I hope that’s not really the cover. That’s really going to hurt sales.” (Don Fey, Father of Tina Fey )
“Absolutely delicious!” (A Guy Who Eats Books )
“Totally worth it.” (Trees )
“Do not print this glowing recommendation of Tina Fey’s book until I’ve been dead a hundred years.” (Mark Twain )
“Hilarious and insightful. Laugh-out-loud funny — oh no, a full moon. No! Arrgh! Get away from me! Save yourself!” (A Guy Turning into a Werewolf )Product Description:Before Liz Lemon, before “Weekend Update,” before “Sarah Palin,” Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV.
She has seen both these dreams come true.
At last, Tina Fey’s story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live; from her passionately halfhearted pursuit of physical beauty to her life as a mother eating things off the floor; from her one-sided college romance to her nearly fatal honeymoon — from the beginning of this paragraph to this final sentence.
Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we’ve all suspected: you’re no one until someone calls you bossy.

About the Author:
Tina Fey lives in Denver with her ferret, Jacoby.
Finally a new Ask Tina! (plus John Riggi!) In this one they talk glasses and SNL.
Alec Won!
Alec Baldwin won his 5th consecutive SAG Award for playing Jack Donaghy! (Pictures from a previous win.) Tina lost out to Betty White in her category and the cast lost to Modern Family in the Ensemble category. The cast looked great on the red carpet, we’ll have photos and videos up later.
But for now, this quote:
Interviewer: “You’re the coolest guy on TV.”
Jon Hamm: “Nope. Not true. … Alec Baldwin is.”

The 2011 Golden Globes have come and gone. I don’t have much to say about them that’s polite so I’ll save my ranting and raving for the comments.
However the 30 Rock cast looked fantastic and had a lot of fun on the red carpet. Especially the mother to be, Jane Krakwoski. So here’s a wrap up of 30 Rock at the Golden Globes:
