Devon’s A Daddy!

Ok…so I know that this isn’t exactly related to 30 Rock, but Will Arnett and Amy Poehler had their baby yesterday!
Baby Archie was born just hours before Saturday Night Live!!

Amy once said that no matter the sex of her baby, it was going to marry Alice Richmond. And now that we know it’s a boy, we can start planning the wedding! (Ok not really, but how cute would that be?!)

If you all watched SNL last night, you might have seen Maya Rudolf and Keenan Thompson sing “I Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” to Amy and Baby and it was definitely and “awwwwwww” moment! If any of you can find the video, feel free to share!

Anyway, Congrats Amy and Will! What a lucky, lucky baby boy!

Here’s a short little Page Desk to keep you busy until the Emmy’s tomorrow night!

  • Tina Fey reached #10 in Forbes list of top 20 List of Highest Earning TV Actresses. The list features 2 supermodles, 4 Housewives and some pretty unflattering pictures all around.
  • If you haven’t seen it yet, check out Time’s 10 Questions with Alec Baldwin. It’s worth watching!
  • When you’re done with the above, check out the audience submitted questions where Alec does his best Tracy Morgan impression.
  • Speaking of Tracy Morgan, he’s going to lend his voice talents to start in “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.” I wonder where this role sits in the “Uncanny Valley.”
  • Here’s a video of Tim Conway backstage after winning his Emmy.
  • And finally here’s a pretty awesome interview with Amy Peohler. “What?” you say, “Amy’s not on 30 Rock.” Well why that may be true (for now). However this interview is not only hilarious, but it references Devon Banks robe as well as Amy’s wish that her baby will marry Alice Richmond.

    The Great Sesame Street Post

    I’ve thought a bit and I have no real clever way to introduce this, so I’m just gonna get down to it:

    Sesame Street spoofed 30 Rock.

    That’s right. I’m not kidding. As bizarre and weird as it may seem for a kids TV show to spoof a low rated, critically acclaimed comedy, Sesame Street is airing it’s spoof “30 Rocks” starting Liz Lemon (an actual lemon) and Jack the Boss. It even has the 30 Rock theme song and, god knows, educational value.

    But wait there’s more Will Arnett is appearing in an episode of Sesame Street this season as well. And wait for it Arrested Development fans, he’s playing a magician. While he may be doing math instead of illusions, I bet he does a fantastic job.

    Devon’s Going To Be A Daddy!

    No, Kathy Geiss isn’t preggers, sorry to scare you!

    Will Arnett is going to be a daddy in real life though! He and wife Amy Poehler are expecting their first child. Sure this isn’t totally 30 Rock news, but we all know I love Will and he has been on the show, so that’s the connection I’m giving you!

    E! Online has the story here. Not too many details yet, but still pretty exciting!

    Congrats to the lovely (and hilarious) duo!
