Wait…today isn’t October 7th…it’s the 4th of July!
I hope you all enjoyed some fireworks today, I know I did.
Really this post has nothing to do with the 4th, it has to do with the 7th!

To get to the point, they pushed up the release date of the Season Two DVD! It will now be out October 7th, so let’s rejoice! Also, it comes with a whole bunch of bonus features, which I am pumped about. Thanks to Sophie and Megan for the tip!

I must say I am SUPER EXCITED for a Will Arnett commentary! My crush on him prevails! Which ones are you all excited for, because there are certainly plenty to choose from!

Update: 5/8 NBC put the 4 spoiler clips up for the finale!

They’re under the break since even the titles of the clips can be a very spoiler heavy.

Is that a bag of Sabor de Soledad in Jack’s hand?

Confirmed: 30 Rock is airing at a new time next week.

30 Rock moves to a new time starting April 24th. At least that’s what it looks like. This morning NBC’s website changed the time slot to 9:30E/8:30CP, which means 30 Rock will air right after The Office.

If you ask me 30 Rock should have been airing there all year. But at this point it seems a little cruel to keep moving the time around.

What do you think? Will 30 Rock do better in it’s new time slot? Or should it just stay put?

Also, the summary for Episode 2.15 has been added. It will be the season finale, and it looks to be amazing. (Plus the return of 2 of my favorite guest stars!)

It has been exactally 3 months since the last episode of 30 Rock aired back in January. During that time Thursdays were less funny, the writers strike ended, and Piers Morgan won Celebrity Apprentice. (I had never heard of him until I just googled to see who the winner was…)

But finally, 30 Rock is back! And just as hilarious as ever! (Right now, I can’t tell if that was as funny as I thought it was or if I was just starved for comedy, but I’d put money on the former!)

I loved the parallels between MILF Island and Liz’s world. When we come back, one more twist. Great writing Tina Fey and Matthew Hubbard! I liked how the candy bar that was supposed to bring joy, ended up trapping Pete. Poor Pete…

So I’ve been checking every hour to see if they’ll put up a promo for MILF Island. They finally ran this promo for their new Thursday Night. It features a brief new clip of Liz opening a door, plus two clips we’ve already seen before. (That rhymed!) I guess they had 5 shows to promote in just under 30 seconds, so I can’t be too angry that 30 Rock didn’t get a larger role in the promo… Anyways here it is.

It’s great for 2 reasons: The first is that it means its really going to happen! It’s coming in 6 Days!

The 2nd, and more fun, is that it lets us play a game of,”Where have I seen that clip before?” That’s right. Watch the promo and see if you can tell what episode the old clips (of Jack and Frank) aired in!

Now I know Shark Eyes is gonna be ecstatic about this one!

Matthew Broderick is segueing from Broadway Producer to TV guest star. Filmdom’s erstwhile Ferris Bueller (and the hubby of Sexy Sarah Jessica Parker) has been enlisted to appear on an upcoming episode of NBC’s 30 Rock, playing “Cooter, an enthusiastic, clean-cut government employee who befriends Jack (Alec Baldwin).” Perhaps he will teach Jack how to succeed in business without really trying?

Promotional Pictures for 2.13 - Succession have been added to it’s page! I think I’m most excited about this episode. The pictures feature the return of 2 of my all time favorite guest stars. I won’t spoil it here out of principle. (Like you’re not gonna go look at them anyways ;)). Go check them out and see for yourself!

Speaking of spoiler things.  It looks like Josh Hartnett was just passing though the NBC building on his way to church after all.  He will not be appearing on 30 Rock anytime soon.  Some fans may say we dodge a bullet here.  My question is, how did this bullet get so huge.  When the rumor started it was for 1 episode.  A week later it was 3-5.  This person reported 8!  Silly Internet.
