Ok so maybe 30 Rock is the new “Will and Grace”.

That’s not true. 30 Rock uses it’s guest stars much better than “Will and Grace” did.

But yet, when you see who this new guest star is, you’ll have to agree there’s some truth to it.

9/2 (Post #2) OK So Aniston Watch is exploding with news!! First Korbi TV has the scoop on the role Jennifer will be playing. And TMZ has a video from the filming. (It corresponds with the pictures we posted earlier.) What do you think of her role? It seems to be a heavy one!

In an effort to spark a little internet buzz, NBC has decided to air the season premiers of some of its shows on Hulu.com a week before they air on TV. This means the Season 3 premier of 30 Rock will be available online October 23rd! This is pretty exciting news; cutting a week of the time we have to wait for new episodes!  I mean, how awesome is that?!

Here’s the story. And here’s the Hulu page with it’s Fall Premiere dates.

No word yet on whether episodes will continue airing a week early after the premier.  (I’ll probably be a good 30 Rock fan and end up watching it both online 2 or 3 times, and then on TV when it airs :P).

So as if we needed more of a reason to be excited for October 30th… spoiler from EW on a guest star for the premier. Oh yeah and there’s some info under there about another rumored guest star for later in the season.

Here’s the 30 Rock Emmy brag fest promo that has been airing during the Olympics on NBC.

Once again it doesn’t have any new clips yet. But if you think about it 38 million people watched Phelps swim his 8th gold. And only 6 million at most watch 30 Rock. So that means to over 30 million people, this was new footage. I’m ok with NBC reaching out to the masses, just so long as they eventually hook us fans up with something soon!

First off, on an unrelated note, here’s an interview with Judah Friedlander about his latest stand up routine. And apparently (according to this article) 30 Rock just finished it’s third season! Who knew? I must be a season behind! Goodness…

One other tidbit before the big news. As we already knew, 30 Rock has won a Peabody Award. The ceremony was held yesterday and here is a clip of the winners talking about what it was like to win. Thanks to Sophie for the link!

Now for the information that inspired the title of this post. We were all told that the tentative Season 2 DVD release would be September 16th. But apparently now, it has been pushed back to OCTOBER 14th! First they give us a horrible third season premiere date, and now this! How am I going to kill time now? Where’s the 30 Rock love? All I’m sayin’ is that there better be some incredible bonus features on this. It’s the least they can do for making us wait that long…

It was announced that Season 3 of 30 Rock will start on October 30th.  The premiere is really late because NBC moved “Kath and Kim” to Thursdays and SNLs specials “Thursday Night Live” will air in 30 Rocks spot during the first weeks of October.

Obviously this is a really late premier, but at least we have a date.  30 Rock on the 30th.
