We finally have a release date for the 5th Season DVD. The DVD will be released on November 29th. It is super pushed back to better correspond to the marketing push for the new season which starts in January. Unfortunately though we’ll have awhile to wait. Pre-Order on Amazon.
Here’s a look at 30 Rock’s ratings this past season.
- 30 Rock ranked #64 in the 18-49 demo for broadcast shows this season with a 2.5.
- 30 Rock ranked #106 in viewers for the broadcast season with an average of 5.29 Million viewers.
- 30 Rock was NBC’s 5th top show in the Demo behind The Office (3.9), Parenthood (2.8), Law and Order SVU (2.8) and Parks and Recreation (2.6).
- 30 Rock saw an average increase of 33% when DVR viewing was factored in. (Episodes airing at 10 PM saw an average of 42%)
Random fact: With this May’s cancellation of “Brothers and Sisters” on ABC. 30 Rock is the only Network TV show to survive 2006-2007 Season.

Summary: LIZ LEMON’S (TINA FEY) SUMMER VACATION IS INTERRUPTED WHEN TRACY (TRACY MORGAN) SHOWS UP.
With the fifth season of “TGS” over, everyone is getting ready for summer. Liz’s (Fey) relaxing vacation in the Hamptons is ruined when Tracy (Morgan) moves in next door. With his wife gone, Jack (Alec Baldwin) is feeling lonely and decides to use Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) as her replacement. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) faces a choice between love and career when her role as spokeswoman for the Wool Council affects her relationship with Paul (Will Forte).

Cmac: Has anyone else noticed that Alec clearly died his hair a much lighter brown this year? He had been progressively getting grayer and now he just looks silly...grasping at the straws of youth.
