Alec Baldwin stopped by SNL last night to address how he recently got kicked off a plane for playing Words with Friends on his phone. Wait I mean Capt. Steve Rogers stopped by SNL…
Well 16th times the charm.
Alec hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live and just like the past 15 times he did a great job. This was a better than average episode even for Alec. What was your favorite bit? If you missed, check out some clips below:
GOP Debate:
Monologue
WU: Tony Bennet
Who’s On Top?
Top Gun Screen Tests
Child Psychologist
Dying Wish
All My Children Wrap Party
Satellite Delay
Alec Baldwin returns to SNL to host the 37th season premier tomorrow night. This also puts him in the lead for most times hosting!

Alec Baldwin has been tapped to host his 16th episode of Saturday Night Live for the shows 37th Season Premiere. The show will air on September 24th. Alec will jump ahead into the lead for most episodes hosted, breaking his tie with Steve Martin. It should be a great episode! Maybe while the other stars wait for 30 Rock to resume they could show up too

This was not my favorite Tina hosting gig… (How do you keep her off stage for 45 minutes?) But here were a lot of funny moments. Here are a few of the best:
-Monologue
-GOP Debate
-Mermaid
-Pregnant in Heels
-Birthing Class
-Belinda’s Sleepover
and no Tina here but everyone should watch Stefon.
Update: The website changed the report to May 7th. We’ll let you know when NBC officially schedules it.
It looks like Tina Fey will be making her 3rd appearance as host on Saturday Night live on April 30th. Here’s the story. Assuming that’s the next new episode after Helen Mirren hosts, that will be SNL’s 700th episode. A great host for this pretty cool milestone.
That’s a little good news to counter act the latest round of Alec foretelling the end of 30 Rock.
Don’t forget that tonight NBC is airing a Women of SNL special starting at 9/8c. It should be an interesting show for SNL/Tina nerds so tune in! (I mean it has to be better than “The Event” anyways right?)
Next Monday, November 1st, NBC will air a Women of SNL special. It will include never seen before interviews and fottage as well as old clips. Check out the preview:
Obviously Tina Fey as well as some other 30 Rock guest stars like Dratch and Wiig will be featured. Should be an interesting show.
