Season Finale!

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

That was awesome!!!  The perfect close to a great season of 30 Rock.

Some of the best:

“We’re not in a recession!”
Kathy Geiss and the toy car in her mouth!
Liz getting the pregnancy tests from Jenna’s drawer.
“Rainbow Chicken” and “Cheif Errand Boy!”
CC!
Everything Jenna did in this episode.

Don’t forget to go live blog with Jack McBrayer!  And also if you can spare time to go talk about the episode over at the episode page.  We’ll also have quotes up in an hour or two so check back!

Live Blog with Kenneth!

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Jack McBrayer will be live blogging after the 30 Rock season finale on NBC.com. I’m always a fan of these live blogs cause they’re always so good! You can find more info here. Be sure to check it out.

And I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Sandwich Day! Tonights episode was fantastic. From Liz flipping the table, to the TGS staff singing with the teamsters, everything was perfect. Really everything was perfect. The stories, the jokes, the music, the direction, the acting. I loved it! Way to go guys.

I loved the Jenna-Tracy-Frank-Kenneth-Lutz plot line. What am I 12 and at my boyfriend’s frat party?

The Sandwich Day page is open for comments with all the quotes up too, so take a second to share what you liked/didn’t like about it!

“I Need a 100,000 Dollars or I’m Going to Lose Both My Houses!”

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Ok, I’m not losing my houses. I don’t even have a house! But I do have kind of a bizarre favor to ask of you kids getting pumped for Sandwich Day…

Due to some unforeseen drama in my normally boring life, I will be unable to watch tonight’s episode for at least a couple days. Horrible timing for my life to get interesting, but what can you do?

Now you all know I’m the giggle-y girl at PCB and I have been awaiting this episode for so long to get a chance to see Floyd, so what I’m asking from you guys is this: you have to let me know how the episode goes! The Floyd parts of course, but the preview with Jack yelling at Don Geiss is so funny that I can’t even imagine what this episode will bring.

I really want to know what you guys liked, what you didn’t like. Let me know what I should be looking forward to! Is it an overall awesome episode? How does it compare to Succession, because I think we all know that’s been the best episode back so far. These kinds of things will make me incredibly happy!

I know you guys know the drill. Comment over at the Sandwich Day Page and you will make my weekend! You really really will! And never you fear, Matt’s life is far more uncomplicated than mine, so the quotes will still be up in a timely fashion!

Enjoy the show!

Devon’s Going To Be A Daddy!

Monday, April 28th, 2008

No, Kathy Geiss isn’t preggers, sorry to scare you!

Will Arnett is going to be a daddy in real life though! He and wife Amy Poehler are expecting their first child. Sure this isn’t totally 30 Rock news, but we all know I love Will and he has been on the show, so that’s the connection I’m giving you!

E! Online has the story here. Not too many details yet, but still pretty exciting!

Congrats to the lovely (and hilarious) duo!

Don’t Miss it!

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Just a reminder that 30 Rock is on at a new time (9:30E/8:30 C&P).  If you tune in too early you’ll just see doctors running around Sacred Heart Hospital, causing problems and narrating their lives.  Stick around, it’ll be on after The Office!

And don’t forget to come back and talk about the episode afterwards on the episode page here!

Jack McBrayer in Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Friday, April 18th, 2008

In case you haven’t heard, 30 Rock’s very own Jack McBrayer in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which opens today. It looks good, albeit, a little racy. But if you can handle it be sure to check it out! To Celebrate here’s some Jack McBrayer goodies.

To start off, here’s the Official Website for “Forgetting Sarah Marshall“. And if you are of age, you can visit the restricted section for some racier clips from the movie. (Including 2 featuring Jack.)

The 3rd Episode of “Living Neath the Law” was posted on Funny or Die. They’re hilarious, but there is a little swearing so turn the volume down.

Jack also appears in a video called “Pioneer Museum” with Niel Flynn, better known as the Janitor.

And finally, here’s Kenneth’s new video blog:

New 30 Rock Tonight

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

211-2 Man it’s so nice to have 30 Rock back every week, even if just for a while! We’re just a few short hours away from a brand new 30 Rock episode entitled “Subway Hero!” As always, we’ll have a little recap and quotes after the episode airs. Don’t forget to come back and discuss the episode on the Subway Hero page Here!

Make sure you tell everyone you know to watch 30 Rock tonight and about PCB! It promises to be a good ep tonight! 30 Rock deserves more viewers! (and I guess we want more visitors.)

Anyways, I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday and we’ll talk to you after the show!

After Episode Update: By Moonvest

Wow, I loved this episode! With all the Kenneth learning about old school TV and Tracy telling Blackmericans not to vote, I couldn’t contain myself! I wont say much more, because I assume you guys all watched it, so discuss on the episode page, and quotes will be up late tonight or tomorrow! 7 more days till the next ep!

New Oprah Rumors

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

From E!Online: Apparently Oprah heard when Tina joked about how she wants Oprah to appear on the show and play her best friend. Right now it looks like that could become a reality in the near future! While taping an upcoming episode of her show with, Tina and Amy Poehler for their upcoming movie Baby Mama, Oprah told Tina to “have your people call my people.” She said she was “definately interested”. Will this actually happen? We’re going to have to wait until next season to if this plays out!

Now I’ll admit to not being the biggest Oprah fan. I really just don’t think I’m her target audience. I don’t have problems with her, but I know people out there do. But this promises to be hilarious and great for the show, which is all we could hope for!

Thoughts?

After The Show

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Hey guys, we all know that new episodes are coming up (GIDDY!!!!) and we here at PCB want to get some input from you. What would you guys like to see on Thursdays after the new episodes? We already are planning on having the episode page, which will be the place to comment on the episode. An example that was thrown around was that if people were interested, they could write full reviews of the episodes and we would put it up somewhere. Or perhaps episode highlights. That’s just some examples, but any ideas are welcome! We’re always looking for your suggestions to make this the best 30 Rock site it can be!
