Creative Arts Emmys 2009!

30 Rock got some gold tonight at the Creative Arts Emmys! The show won for both outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Comedy Series. Congrats to the show and everyone involved! Here’s a list of all the winners. Also Tina Fey won an Emmy in the Guest Actress category for her portrayal of Sarah Palin on SNL. She beat out Jennifer Aniston and Elaine Stritch from her own show, but I don’t think anyone could argue she didn’t deserve it. Video: The BBC has part of Tina’s Acceptance speech here. I’m glad Tina went to get her award instead of skipping it. She’s super busy but she’ll fly out to LA for back to back weekends. She’s awesome.
I really want to hear her speech.

Yaaaaay Tina! She looked lovely in those pictures. I agree, she was a great sport to be there yesterday, then fly out again for the 20th. Hope 30 Rock takes all the awards!

I love her hair here. It sorta reminds me of her weekend update/ mean girls days. Congrats to Tina! Another one for the shelf.
