Wow. I just… Wow.
Surprises:
Jack AND Tracy?!
4 writing nods?! (and curiously none for tina)
3 directing nods?!?!
2 nods for Jack?
The 30 Rock digital experience?! Which I didn’t even know existed?!
Very happy about Stritch and Jon Hamm. Although Tina will win guest actress for SNL. And FINALLY for Jane!
Couldn’t be happier.

Wow, 22 nominations!
And Jack, Jane and Tracy got nominated too!
That’s just AWESOME.

How bleeping awesome that ALL the principle cast were nominated? Go Jack, Tracy, and Jane!

Wow, 4 from 5 in Writing - that’s crazy! (like Mad Men in Drama)
And all the actors are nominated - just great

I’m totally excited that all the actors are nominated. It would totally blow my mind if they all won.
The writing nominations are crazy and its hard to decide which one of those I like the most. Insane!
I totally love it!

Jane! Jane Jane Jane!! *Does Happy Dance*
The category I’m usually SURE we will win (Guest Actor) makes me a little nervous this year. While I love Alan Alda and Steve Martin, those episodes weren’t exactly my favorite of the season. And I think you all know how I feel about Jon Hamm…*narrows eyes*
I’m super pumped for Jack and Tracy too!!!

So awesome that Tracy and Jack are nominated! And oh my, if Jon Hamm wins for Guest Actor, my brain may explode.
This goes back to the submissions, but I was surprised that no Tina-penned episodes were in the running. OK, I love her to death, but “The Bubble” also happened to be my favorite episodes of the year. Also, no “Believe in the Stars” or “Generalissimo”! Waaah! With those not on the list, I’m pulling for “Apollo, Apollo.”
“Wordplay!”

F*ck yeah!!! So happy for the acting categories!!! Great year for tv!

I’m very happy for all the nominees, but kinda sad at the same time that Jackie Jormp-Jomp (one of my favorite 30 Rock eps of all time) didn’t get nominated for anything, not even for writing, or picture editing/directing or whatever for that one continuous scene of Liz Lemon at the spa.
Also, I didn’t think Steve Martin was that fantastic as Gavin Volure–especially at the end of the episode. I thought his acting was kind of weird and over-the-top, and I didn’t believe his infatuation with Liz. Not sure how I feel about the nod for Jon Hamm; I thought he was just ok but the episodes he was in weren’t the best of the season. If I had to pick someone from 30 Rock to win the Best Guest Actor category, I’d go w/ Alan Alda.
I’m surprised by the nod for Jennifer Aniston too, although I think I just wasn’t crazy about that episode–she herself was pretty convincing as a hot-but-crazy girl. I do hope Elaine Stritch wins in that category though, because she’s phenomenal.
I’m thrilled about the noms for Tracy, Jack, and Jane!

I’m extremely happy with the amount of Emmy Nods. Great work!
One thing though, IMHO Salma Hayek deserved it over Jennifer Aniston. She was awesome! Maybe because hers was a recurring role?
Anyways great job 30 Rock!!!

I’m so happy for 30 rock! I hope they win many many awards. Go Tracy and Jenna!

Well, since it’s never too early, here’s what I think 30 Rock will win:
Comedy Series - Dynasty!
Casting
Directing [Reunion]
Writing [Reunion] - I mean, 80% chance right?
Lead Actor - No formidable competition yet.
Supporting Actress - My only concern would be Kristen Wiig or Amy Poehler, but they’ll probably cancel each other out.
Guest Actor [Steve Martin]
Editing
I think Tracy and Jack will split the vote. And I think either Mary Louise Parker or Toni Collette will win Lead Actress, much to my dismay.
