Final Season 4 Ratings

June 2, 2010

Final Season Ratings totals are in for the 2009-2010 season.

Amongst Primetime Network TV shows, 30 Rock ranked #36 in the 18-49 demographic at 3.3/8.  It ranked 70th in total viewers at 6.671 million.  30 Rock was NBC’s #2 show in the demo after The Office.

This is down from last years Palin-boosted 7.5 million average but it kept it’s ranking amongst the shows (#69 last year.)  Next year should be interesting when 30 Rock changes time slots…

    That’s good… and a bit bad, I guess.

On a totally unrelated but 30 Rock-related note, I’m 90% positive I saw Dean Winters (Dennis Duffy) in downtown NYC today. It made my day.

Since many are worried about the status of the show – since it pretty much maintained its rating from Season 3, but was considered to have a weaker season where other new comedies were strong – this should be a comfort. In the middle of the 4th season, well into the buzz that this was not a great season for 30 Rock, Newsweek named it the best comedy of the past decade (even despite saying this season was more uneven).
