Joke Directory
Awhile back a few people came up with the idea of cataloging jokes that recur on 30 Rock. This is sort of a directory of in jokes that are just a little more special to 30 Rock fans than the casual viewer.
It is by no means complete! Post a comment to suggest new categories or examples of the jokes! We need your help! (it’s a great excuse to go back and watch old episodes!)
Right now it’s a tad unorganized but we’ll get it better organized once we’re closer to getting all the jokes.

How about ‘Muffin Top’? I’d count that as an in-joke, as it plays a lot in random episodes sometimes in the background. I know in ‘Jackie Jormp-Jomp’ Jenna sang a slow version, but I can’t remember what version the original was in- maybe Jack-tor?

the “a thing” bit shows up again at the end of 2.07 cougars. at the end when frank is like, “i’m not gay gay… just gay for jamie,” the guy dressed like a cop says, “i don’t think that’s a thing.”

I think there are also a lot of references to Alec Baldwin’s movie career.
