Page Desk #16
April 28, 2009
Haven’t done one of these in awhile but there’s a lot of little news items to round up. If you come across any more news or pages feel free to drop us a comment or email:
Do you take your daughter, Alice, to work?
I try to take her once a week after preschool. Both my husband and I work here, so it’s nice that she gets to see us. Just recently she started to sit on the set and yell “action” and “cut.” Posted in Page Desk, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan |
Does she have any idea that Mommy is famous?
She’s starting to, and I’m trying to figure out how to downplay it. I want her to know that to be famous is not really important and not a sign of any kind of merit. But I do like her coming on set and seeing how different jobs work and that people have different roles in making the show.
It’s funny that no matter what your status is at work or in the outside world, when you come home, you are the person who cleans up your kid’s poop.
Does your daughter think you’re funny?
I think she thinks that Daddy is funnier. And she’s right. She also knows that it’s good to be funny.
What three things are on your Mother’s Day wish list?

The Viuda Negra site! HAHAHA.
Tina is in People’s 100 Most Beautiful issue, by the way.

In your item, “Tina talks about her daughter Alice in this interview,” that interview isn’t really an interview, it’s just a totally pointless rehashing of the real Q&A interview in Parents magazine. If you read that article, there is absolutely no new information in it that wasn’t printed in the Parents interview, and it even cites the Parents interview as its only source. It amazes me that someone *might* have gotten paid for that. What a waste of everyone’s time.

Yeah I was confused since the excerpt they sent us was different from what was on either of those pages. I’ve changed the link to the Parents Magazine site since they wrote it.
(When I had booked marked that first link to post earlier, I don’t think the Parent’s Magazine page was up yet since it was from the May issue.)

Oh, I’m totally not faulting you for posting the link; especially since maybe the real interview wasn’t available on-line at the time. I’m just amazed at what passes for writing these days and I’m wondering why certain blogs even exist if they have no original content, *shrug.* It’s like, “wow, I’m so glad this article is here; otherwise there’s NO WAY I would have understood that Parents Q&A with Tina.” LOL
