Excuse me?!

Posted June 17th, 2008 By Shark Eyes

First off, on an unrelated note, here’s an interview with Judah Friedlander about his latest stand up routine. And apparently (according to this article) 30 Rock just finished it’s third season! Who knew? I must be a season behind! Goodness…

One other tidbit before the big news. As we already knew, 30 Rock has won a Peabody Award. The ceremony was held yesterday and here is a clip of the winners talking about what it was like to win. Thanks to Sophie for the link!

Now for the information that inspired the title of this post. We were all told that the tentative Season 2 DVD release would be September 16th. But apparently now, it has been pushed back to OCTOBER 14th! First they give us a horrible third season premiere date, and now this! How am I going to kill time now? Where’s the 30 Rock love? All I’m sayin’ is that there better be some incredible bonus features on this. It’s the least they can do for making us wait that long…

You can read that article here. They also have tentative cover art. I personally love it when they include Jane and Jack, because they really are such a huge part of the show.

Jane Krakowski in Kit Kittridge

Posted June 17th, 2008 By Matt

Here’s the trailer for Kit Kittridge: American Girl which includes Jane Krakowski amongst it’s cast. Jane looks like she’s having a lot of fun in this movie and it looks like she did a good job! I see a hint of Jenna Maroney in her character. The movie comes out July 2nd.

Watch the Trailer here.

According to TV Guide the Second Season of 30 Rock will be availible on DVD September 16th.

Here’s hoping for more bonus features and better commentaries :P!  (Though, even if there weren’t bonus features this DVD would be worth it!)

Let the Judging Begin!

Posted June 13th, 2008 By Shark Eyes

According to Canadian Press (why they know this is a mystery to me), Lonny Ross and Keith Powell will be judging the Miami auditions of Last Comic Standing this week on Thursday the 20th. Now I have never seen Last Comic Standing, but I hear good things, so check it out if you have the chance.

Here’s the article. There really isn’t much there, but it has a list of what’s going on all week. Maybe there’s something else there that will strike your fancy!

EW Wish List

Posted June 10th, 2008 By Shark Eyes

Entertainment Weekly just put out this nice article about their Emmy Wish List. I say nice because EW can sometimes be fickle. But they only have lovely things to say about Tina, Alec and Tracy, which makes me a very happy lady. Also, they take a jab at Ugly Betty and her “Day-Glo Ponchos”, so all in all the article is a win-win.

What about Gayle

Posted June 6th, 2008 By Matt

Kristen over at E!Online has more info on the possible Oprah guest appearance:

Sabrina in Detroit: Will Oprah guest on 30 Rock next season?
I’m hearing NBC is trying to make it happen! How much would that rule?! Jane Krakowski had this to say: “It’d be pretty cool if Oprah shows up as Liz’s best friend. What’s going to happen to Gayle then? Wait, I’m her best friend on the show. What’s going to happen to me?!” I don’t know, but for the record, Jane, I will totally BFF you!

Read Kristen’s Report here.

Yeah.  This should happen.

30 Rock Quiz

Posted June 3rd, 2008 By Matt

I don’t know how old this is, but I just came across a little 30 Rock quiz that was fairly entertaining.  Anything that helps give a little 30 Rock fix is worth it.

Here’s the quiz.

There’s only a one or two tricky questions, but I managed to use my nerdy love for this show and get 13 out of 13.  How did you do?

Emmy Submissions

Posted June 2nd, 2008 By Moonvest

To get me through this rough week of finals, I’ve constantly been checking to see if 30 Rock sent in any more Emmy submissions, and they didn’t disappoint! Some of these submissions still are undecided on which episode they’re submitting, so those will come in an update (hopefully).

Comedy Lead Actor

Alec Baldwin - “Rosemary’s Baby”

Comedy Lead Actress

Tina Fey - “210″

Comedy Supporting Actor

Scott Adsit - “Greenzo”
Judah Friedlander - “Cougars”
Jack McBrayer - “210″
Tracy Morgan - “Secrets and Lies”

Comedy Supporting Actress

Jane Krakowski - “The Collection”

Thats it for now, but hopefully some of those ?? will become episodes soon!

UPDATE: So not only are all the actors submissions in, but the episodes that the show has submitted for best comedy are Rosemary’s Baby or Greenzo. That means all Emmy information that you could possibly ever need is in this post! Enjoy!
