YES!!!  30 Rock has been renewed for a 5th season today!  Community and The Office were also renewed and Parks and Rec was picked up a few weeks ago.

It’s so awesome that this show made it so far.  Congrats to the cast and crew!  We look forward to another awesome season!

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – March 5, 2010 – NBC has renewed three more of its Thursday-night comedies – “30 Rock” (9:30-10 p.m. ET), “The Office” (9-9:30 p.m. ET) and the freshman series “Community” (8-8:30 p.m. ET) for the 2010-11 season. The returning programs join the previously announced “Parks and Recreation” (Thursdays, 8:30-9 p.m. ET) that also will return for next season.

Currently in its fourth season, “30 Rock” is averaging a 3.4 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers overall, with “30 Rock” originals winning the time period among men 18-34 and men 18-49 despite airing opposite the concluding half-hours of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and CBS’s “CSI.” “30 Rock” is the most upscale comedy on broadcast primetime television when ranked by its concentration of homes with $100,000-plus incomes in its adult 18-49 audience.

The Emmy Award-winning comedy series “30 Rock” is told through the comedic voice of Emmy and two-time Golden Globe winner Tina Fey (“Saturday Night Live”) as variety show producer Liz Lemon and features Emmy and three-time Golden Globe winner Alec Baldwin (“The Departed”) as top network executive Jack Donaghy. Also starring are Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, Scott Adsit, Jack McBrayer, Judah Friedlander and Keith Powell.

No 30 Rock again tonight.  (Next week!)  But to keep us going, Tina is on the Marriage Ref Tonight!  It airs right after a full hour of The Office at 10:00/9:00 central.  I didn’t watch the sneak peak with Alec Baldwin yet, but according to the internet it wasn’t half bad.  So check out Tina’s episode tonight. If you catch it, let us know what you think of the show and how Tina did!

Alec will be on NBC’s new show the Marriage Ref as one of the panelists tonight.  They will be airing a sneak peak episode after the big US-Canada hockey game and the close of the Olympics.

Then Thursday (3/4) Tina will be on of the panelists for the official season premiere.  The shows at 10:00 Eastern directly following the Office.  (No 30 Rock that night due to the arriaval of the Office Baby.)

Also congradulations to Ken Whittingham who won a NAACP Image Award for direction the episode “The Funcooker!” That is one of my favorites and very well deserved!

By now everyone knows Alec Baldwin is hosting this years Academy Awards with co-host Steve Martin on March 7th.

Today it was announced that Tina Fey and Steve Carrell will be presenting (presumably together) at the Oscars!  Who’s pumped?!
