30 Rock will easily win the main category, although I can see TBBT having an outside chance. Tina best beat Toni Collette this time. ¬¬

I hope you’re right, Jamie. I always feel weird about the Satellite Awards. They try to go for the out of the box options. Only one of last years winners was even nominated for an Emmy…

The Golden Sats are somewhat a joke (they’re just a bunch of people who broke away from the golden globes) but I’m still happy for 30R. But giving Glee 6 nods?! Seriously?! Can’t stand that show. And the terrific Modern Family only gets one nod for Julie Bowen. Wow.
(Sorry to sound negative! I seriously am happy for Tina and Alec!)

Six for Glee is a little out of control! But as a HUGE fan, I’m glad it can be recognized in some way. Lots of people don’t get that exposure to music, which I think is a shame. I’m also a music/musical theater SUPERGEEK, so I might be a little biased.
Love Big Bang, and I thought Jim Parsons was robbed of his Emmy, even though I love Alec to pieces!
Also, can Weeds win something? Just once, and then they don’t have to win again. It’s just SO. GOOD.

I’m not a huge super fan of Glee but I do enjoy it sometimes. 6 is waaaaaaaaay too many though. Amy Poehler and Julia Louis Dreyfus >>>>>>> Lea Michele.
I do love Modern Family. That and Community are my new favorites! Stonestreet, Burrell and Vergra should get some love along with Bowen.
Tina and Alec haven’t won this award yet so I gotta root for them 100% :P.

Shark Eyes I’m a huge musical theatre geek too and I wanted to like Glee so much. You have no idea. I’m glad it’s giving theatre exposure though.
Modern Family has really proven to be a great show so far. And Community is good, but overlaps with FlashForward so I don’t watch as much as I should.
I absolutely love Toni in US of Tara, but I’m a little tired of Showtime putting a couple jokes in a half hour drama and calling it a comedy. First it was Weeds. At least Edie Falco was nominated in the drama category. (Although that doesn’t seem right either…)

It goes without saying that I’m backing the show, Tina and Alec to blitz their respective categories but Jim Parsons will definitely be one to beat.
