Spoilers for Upcoming Episodes
May 3rd – TV Guide
Jack McBrayer, actually, more than happily teased 30 Rock‘s May 8 season-ender. It’s been out there for a while that (spoiler alert) Liz may have a “baby scare,” but also look for Kenneth to figure into a cliffhanger as well. Maybe the stalwart NBC page is a candidate for Liz’s babydaddy, I suggest? We have a good chuckle over that one.
April 16th – NBC – Spoiler Summary has been added for 2.15 “Cooter”
April 09 – NBC – Promotional Pictures for Episode 2.14 – Sandwich Deay have been added to it’s page.
April 4th – NBC – Summaries for Succession and Subway Hero have been added to their episode pages. 2.13 Guest starts Chris Parnell. (Dr. Spaceman.)
April 2nd – TV Guide:
Question: NBC’s Thursday-night lineup returns in a month! Any scoop yet? Especially for Ben Silverman’s favorite (and mine), 30 Rock? — Matt
Ausiello: Look for Liz to channel her inner Angelina when she decides to adopt a world-weary Russian kid in an attempt to ease her misplaced liberal guilt. And this adoption may take: I hear the kid could be around all next season!
March 26th – E! Online - A Wee Lemon Blossom? Tina says yes, it’s true, bad-luck Liz will be having a pregnancy scare in an upcoming episode. “Liz, who probably hooks up once every seven years,” apparently has encounters with both her ex-boyfriends, Floyd the nice guy (Jason Sudeikis) and Dennis the Beeper King (Dean Winters), and finds herself wondering which one is her maybe-baby’s daddy.- Who should play Liz’s next love interest? Says Tina, “Those [dating stories] are my least-favorite stories to do. They’re always pitching them, and I’m always, ‘No, no more love times.’ So I don’t know what would be on the horizon for Liz. But you know what would be good? Peter Dinklage. That guy is awesome.”- Tim Conway guests in the second episode back. “He plays a very sweet TV veteran named Bucky Bright who used to be on a show in the ’50s called Wagons Ho! He’s there to be a celebrity for a Republican rally that Jack’s trying to organize, but Jack’s looking for a younger, hipper celebrity, so he pawns him off on Kenneth (Jack McBrayer), and [Bucky] tells Kenneth some very, very shocking and racy stories about the old days of television.” In a similar red-elephant vein, Jack Donaghy tries to get Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) to become the new black face of the Republican Party.- What about the backup singers? Er, the rest of TGS‘ writing staff? Says Tina, “You definitely will see them, for sure. They are great. Our ensemble is very large, and it’s hard to get everybody in every week, but you will definitely get to enjoy those guys. Frank (Judah Friedlander) has some stories—he’s being teamed up with Tracy a fair amount this year. He becomes Salieri to Tracy’s Mozart, and that might be all I can say about it at this time. Oh, Toofer (Keith Powell), he got to play Sammy Davis Jr. in a weird fantasy sequence. He did a really good job, so look for that coming up. And Lonny [Ross] is in the MILF Island one.”
March 25th – E! Online
Well maybe this is more of an anti-spoiler
Sidney in Tacoma, Wash.: Gaaah! Someone just told me Josh Hartnett is doing an eight-episode arc on 30 Rock as a love interest for Liz Lemon. Say it ain’t so! It ain’t so. A rep for the show tells me, “That rumor is totally not true.” By the way, if you have questions for Tina Fey, send ‘em in to tvdiva@eonline.com before tomorrow afternoon and we’ll try to get you answers!
March 21st – Entertainment Weekly
UP NEXT: Don’t look for art to imitate life with the onscreen writers of 30 Rock‘s show-within-a-show going on strike. ”Audiences didn’t find the strike that entertaining to begin with,” says Rock‘s creator/star Fey, ”so to try to keep it going seemed like a drag.” Instead, Jack and rival Devon (Will Arnett) will renew their battle to become the successor to CEO Don Geiss (Rip Torn). Devon’s wedding to Geiss’ daughter Kathy is ”increasingly imminent,” explains Fey, but we probably won’t see the wedding: ”His bachelor party is in an episode. We’re trying to save the money — weddings are superexpensive.” And Liz will reconnect with two exes. First, Dennis (Dean Winters) the beeper salesman ”redeems himself by being a subway hero.” Then Floyd (Jason Sudeikis), who fled to Ohio last season, makes a return: ”The idea is that in the age of global warming there is an April blizzard and Floyd is on a business trip [in New York],” says Fey. ”He calls Liz to ask, ‘Can I stay with you?”’ Oh, and did we mention Liz will have a pregnancy scare? Sooooo, whose maybe-baby is it, Tina? ”That’s a cliff-hanger!”
March 17th – Huffington Post
There will be a new face on 30 Rock when it returns from its strike-induced hiatus on April 10: Mayor Bloomberg. “It was just me and him,” said Dean Winters, who’ll be reprising his role as the “Beeper King,” Liz Lemon’s sleazy ex, at a screening for Sleepwalking on March 11. “He was fun, he was cool. And he’s a natural–I think you have to be to be mayor of New York.” The episode is called “Subway Hero,” and Bloomberg plays himself in a scene shot in City Hall. “30 Rock is a ‘Made in NY’ show,” says City Hall spokesman Matthew Kelly, “and is part of an industry that generates $5 billion in economic activity and supports 100,000 jobs, so the mayor was happy to make a cameo.”
March 13th – Casting Calls
30 Rock is looking for extras. One is a “CAUCASIAN 18-25 WITH DREADS” as well as an “OJ SIMPSON LOOK ALIKE” to appear. (Prsumable in 2.13.)
March 12th – OK! Magazine – Josh Hartnett on 30 Rock
It’s still a rumor. How do we know he wasn’t just passing through the NBC building on his way to church?
Nancy, the actress playing the lead Milf, checks in at the Ausiello Report.
March 5th – E! Online – Interview with Robert Carlock
- Devon will be back very soon, and there will be costumes involved. The Jack-Devon rivalry is our Sam and Diane. – But the plan right now is for Cerie to have the longest engagement ever. Her fiancé is the scion of some Greek shipping empire, and we cut a joke in the season premiere that revealed Cerie’s last name is “Xerox,” so I think there are years’ worth of documents to be signed before that merger can take place. – Miss Lemon’s life is a constant struggle between choosing the good, fulfilling thing you have to work at (Floyd) and the easy, dumb thing you settle for (Dennis). So, hopefully they will both, each in his own way, be in the picture for a long time. – Dr. Spaceman has to return for our traditional year-end medical crisis. The only reason he has been away for a little while is that his medical license was suspended for performing unnecessary surgery on himself.
February 27th – Ask Ausiello of TV Guide
Question: Tina Fey rocked my world on SNL last weekend. Can you give us a glimpse of what’s in store on post-strike 30 Rock? — Sharon
Ausiello: “Bitch is the new black!” My mole tells me that Liz and her motley crew will tussle with an elderly, beloved TV star from yesteryear, whose behavior doesn’t exactly jibe with his kindly, sweet reputation.
February 20th – Ask Ausiello of TV Guide
Question: Just 50 days until new 30 Rock episodes! Spoilers, please! — Joel
Ausiello: Jack Donaghy’s dream of creating a TV show that strands a bunch of middle-aged whores-for-hire on a deserted island is about to become a reality. Rock is casting a slew of attractive females in their late thirties to early fifties to serve as contestants on the fictitious “MILF Island”. The twist? The male contestants courting the hot mamas on the show-within-a-show are described as being “of eighth-grade age.” Yep, 30 Rock’s back, folks. Rejoice!
February 15th – TV Guide
Tina Fey Spills on some upcoming plot ideas. “I think we’re going to see some crazy stuff. I think we’re going to see Jack trying to get the big boss’ job. Maybe Will Arnett’s character will come back. We’ll see my character hook up with some of her ex-boyfriends. Maybe have a little pregnancy scare by the end of the season.” As for Tracy Morgan’s Tracy Jordan? Fey would only say, “We’ll see Tracy get up to some crazy business.”

I guess this is the place to post this; not too sure of the ‘journalistic credibility’ of OK! Magazine but they are reporting that Josh Harnett is rumoured to guest star as Liz’s love interest. Which just makes me feel happy/jealous at all the guy candy she is getting this season.
