Woah. Excuse me, there’s a line, buddy.

January 16, 2008

I figured the first lines of 30 Rock would be a fitting way to kick this thing off. Yeah I know, I’m lame. But pretty much I’m still messing around and figuring out how I want everything. And as soon as I do, this place will be kicking.

Did you ever notice that the first line of 30 Rock is “Excuse me, THERE’S A LINE, buddy”
And the second line is “There’s TWO LINES.”

It’s almost as if she was just saying, there’s the first line of my show, and here’s the second… I don’t know if Tina Fey meant it like that, but if she did, it’s just genius.

Since no ones reading this, I’ll shut up and keep playing around/working.

Hey! and did you realize that in the episode The Head and the Hair, when she says to Grey ” I got an uncle whos’s a cop, so don’t even try”, and then he says, “We all have uncles who are cops”, and in the epsiode you later find out that he is her cousin, so he would have an uncle who is a cop as well. I don’t know if it was done intentionally, but that’s pretty funny.

haha also in episode 210 when liz is drunk in her apartment calling the co-op board, one of the times she is pouring wine, and the wine glass is set on a book. If you pause it and look at the book, it is “You’re Doing it Wrong”, Dr. Spaceman’s book from season one!

That’s a really good observation! I would never have realised that myself.
