The 7th and final season of 30 Rock will begin on October 4th at 8:00 Eastern Time.  The 13 episode season will wrap up the show.

NBC is expected to announce that 30 Rock will receive a 7th and final season on Monday.  The season will be a half season and it seems this agreement was reached with Tina Fey’s wishes in mind.

It’s a bittersweet day for 30 Rock fans, but I am thankful we got seven years of the TGS staff.  Thank you to everyone involved and here we go Season 7!
